When you think of Southern cooking, BBQ pulled pork and pulled chicken come to mind.  This spectacular dry rub can be used to create these tasty dishes and allow you to bring a little taste of the south into your kitchen.  The flavor is not too sweet and not too heavy.  It is packed with a variety of flavors that bring a very complex and savory taste to a variety of meats.   Try it on wings and burgers for the grill!

To use as a rub, start off with 1 tablespoon of seasoning per pound of meat. Sprinkle on the meat evenly on both sides and then rub the seasonings into the meat. Once this is done place the meat in a large resealable plastic bag (like a big zip lock bag) and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before cooking. Leave it in the refrigerator for 24 hours for better results!  Then let the grilling begin!
